Important information about season tickets Follow
How does a season ticket work?
TicketCo's solution to season tickets has largely been developed for sports clubs, but it can also be advantageous for some festivals or for anyone that has multiple events. The season ticket has a QR code that can be scanned once at different events. Season tickets can be designed with their own individual price and you can collect data on season ticket sales through a separate report page.
You can select which events will be covered in the season ticket. The season ticket will be sent out to customers via email and text, and it can also be saved in our Wallet app. The ticket will look like one of our regular tickets, but the QR code is designed to be scanned once at each event it is connected to.
You cannot use a season ticket if you:
1. Have a combination of numbered and unnumbered events. (Some with a seat map, others without).
2. Have large discrepancies in capacity between events.
This is due to technical reasons.
If you have a seat map (numbered seats)
If you use a seat map in TicketCo, a season ticket will reserve the ticket buyers seat in every connected event. It is therefore important that you connect up the individual events with the season ticket each time before you publish the event. If a seat is already in use in an event, then this will void the season ticket - that is to say that you will not be able to sell the seat as a season ticket.
If you do not have a seat map (unnumbered seats)
If you create a season ticket to an unnumbered event, the season ticket will reserve one place for every linked event. If you have sold 100 season tickets, 100 places will be reserved in every connected event. If you have an event with 100 spaces and another with 800, then this can be problematic and you should consider whether a season ticket is the right solution for you.
When do I receive payments for season tickets?
If you usually receive weekly outpayments from us, then this will include any season ticket payments too. If you usually receive money once the event is finished, then you will receive a percentage of the season tickets' price after each connected event. Let's say your season ticket covered 10 different individual events, you will be paid out 10% of the season tickets' price after each event.
