Important information
You can use any of the iZettle readers listed below and they will work in the same way. The only difference is that the iZettle Reader 2 requires a different method of pairing.
You will need to follow this pairing process for each iOS device and iZettle reader (each reader requires a separate iOS device). You only need to do this the first time you connect a reader to your device and the password mentioned below is the same for all devices.
During the pairing process described below you will be asked to enter an iZettle username and password. For those that have their own iZettle account, note that you cannot use this account within the TicketCo app.
You may not use the TicketCo iZettle username and password to log in to the iZettle app to sell. If you do this we are not able to attribute your sales to the sales of a ticket in the system and it will cause a substantial delay in payouts as well as possible additional fees.
Troubleshooting
If the display on the reader does not show "Insert card" while the TicketCo app is open and you've followed the steps above, it usually means that there is something wrong with the Bluetooth connection. Try the following:
- Make sure the iOS device and iZettle Readers are paired following the steps above. If you have multiple iPads and iZettle readers, they can sometimes get mixed up!
- Restart the the iZettle reader.
- Force-close the TicketCo app by double-pressing the home key and swiping the app out of the screen.
- Open the TicketCo app and try again.
If the display on the iZettle reader says "READER DAMAGED" please contact your supplier and request a replacement. This error code means that the reader is permanently damaged and can not be fixed.
If you are not able to activate iZettle sales following the steps above there might be something wrong with the iZettle username and password you have been given by TicketCo. Contact TicketCo support to resolved this issue.
