Important information about click cards
How do I get access to click cards?
We will need to activate this for you, so send us an email to support@ticketco.net, or contact us here.
How long is a click card valid?
You decide how long you want your click card to be valid for. When setting up your click card, you can decide to assign an expiry date under Valid to.
What happens when the click card expires?
When the Valid to is reached, the click card will no longer be able to be used to redeem tickets. The customer will receive an error message if they try to purchase tickets once their click card has run out.
When will I receive settlement for my click card sales?
When a customer uses their click card, this will be registered as a payment on the event that they have bought tickets to.
This means that when the money for that specific event is paid out to you, the money from the click card sales will be transferred over from our account and into yours - as if it were a regular payment for that event. If you have a weekly payout plan, you will receive payment as per normal for the click cards that are used.
If there are any remaining "clicks" or coupons left on the card when it expires, these funds will be transferred to you on the Wednesday after the expiry date (which is the Valid to date on your click card settings).
Can I accept click card sales in the app?
Yes! Add the relevant items (they must be click card ticket types) to the shopping cart as normal. Then select Mixed in the menu at the bottom. You will see the Click card option appear, so select the Settle button to continue:
You will now be able to scan the QR-code on the click card, or you can enter in the click card reference code instead.
Can click cards be used as partial payments?
No. Click cards should be used to redeem the full value of a ticket type. Provided that you have calculated the correct price for your click card and your click card ticket types, this should work smoothly.
If the purchaser has used up all the "clicks" or coupons, there should not be a remainder left on the click card. There should also not be any remaining amount which needs to be settled on any click card ticket type (because click cards are designed to cover the full cost).
Where can I collect reports about my click card sales?
Simply go to Click cards in the main menu, select your click card event, and then Report. Here is where you will find your sales figures, and you will also see a list of purchases at the bottom of the screen. You can download an XLS file from Report too.
Are click cards compatible with TMS?
Yes! You can sell click cards as a festival pass solution for your run of live streams or Video on Demand events. Simply enable the Demand voucher card usage setting on your streaming or VOD ticket types.
