Top tips for your Spektrix-integrated events
In this article we will mention some top tips and go through some areas which you might want to double check before publishing your Spektrix-integrated event. This will ensure the smooth running of the integration, meaning that the data from your ticket sales will be successfully fed back to your Spektrix account. Once you have had a read through this guide, and checked your event set up, you can start your sales!
Spektrix API key
In order to bind your TicketCo events to your Spektrix events, we require an API key. Please ensure that you have provided this key to us as soon as possible, ideally before we set up your account in TicketCo, so that we can get the integration up and running from the get-go!
If you can also provide us with a link to the password reset page for your customers, then we can also apply this to your account.
Setting up instances and ticket types in Spektrix
In order to bind your TicketCo live stream and VOD events to your Spektrix account, you will need have a set of matching instances and ticket types set up in Spektrix. You will then link your TicketCo events with your Spektrix instances when you set up your TicketCo events.
Ticket types in Spektrix
When creating your ticket types in Spektrix, please note that they must have a value of 0. Binding tickets with any other value than 0 might result in the data not being fed back to your Spektrix account. You will apply the ticket price in TicketCo when you create your live stream or VOD ticket types.
Price bands in Spektrix
You should ensure that you have applied the correct price band to your tickets in Spektrix. If this is not configured correctly, this could mean that your sales will not be fed through correctly.
If you have a single area unreserved plan in Spektrix, then you can only assign one price band on the plan level, and all your ticket types must be within the same price band. If you want to apply multiple price bands, you will need to request a multi area unreserved plan from Spektrix.

Binding an event to a Spektrix instance
When it comes to binding your TicketCo events with your Spektrix instances, you should ensure that all your ticket types and instances are linked up correctly. You should not publish your event until this is done, as you will not be able to apply the instances if you first publish the event without them.
