Scanning time slot tickets
When it comes to scanning in time slot tickets, this works in the same way as you would scan in "regular" tickets, with the added bonus that you will clearly see if a customer has arrived late to their slot. For more general help and tips for how to scan tickets, see our articles here.
How do I scan tickets?
To scan in time slot tickets, you will need to have downloaded our TicketCo Admin app onto your phone or tablet from the App Store or Play Store. You should sign in with your username and password, select Validate, and then scan tickets by holding your device over the QR code, or by typing in the reference code.
Traffic light system
There is traffic light colour-coded system to allow the user to easily identify if a customer is on time, late or using an invalid ticket.
Valid tickets 🟢If a customer arrives early to their slot, you will be able to validate the ticket, and the date and time will appear in green. In the example here, the customer has purchased a ticket for a time slot starting at 15.05, and arrived at 14.56, so their ticket is ready to be validated. Simply hit Check in to validate. As you can see, the user will be able to view the time slot, the capacity and the ticket type in the order. |

Valid but time slot already started 🟠If a customer arrives after their slot has started, you will see the date and time in orange. It is then up to the users discretion and your company policy on whether you validate the ticket and allow the customer entrance to the event. In the example here, the customer purchased a ticket for the 14.57 slot, and have arrived just on time. Note that the tickets in this case are technically still valid, and it is possible to scan them in if you wish to, by clicking Check in. |

Invalid tickets 🔴Tickets are invalid if they have already been scanned in, or if they are for another day or for another organiser's event. Here you will see the colour red to signify that you cannot validate the ticket in question. The reason for the ticket being invalid is displayed under Status. You can choose to Check out the ticket if needed. |

Group ordersJust as with regular tickets, if you scan a group QR code containing multiple tickets, you will see all the tickets within the order displayed. The tickets will be displayed according to the colour code described above, so you can see if the customer is late or on time for their booking. You can either select individual tickets to check them in, or you can hit Select All and then validate them all in one go. |
