Setting up season tickets Follow
Season ticket events generally work in the same way as normal events, but they have a separate tab in the admin pages, called "Season Passes". In order to get access to this tab, you should contact us directly at support@ticketco.uk.
Once we have activated the season ticket tab for you, be aware of the following distinctions:
Season ticket events
A season ticket event is a page that can contain one or more season ticket types. A season ticket event has a title, picture, link and description.
Season ticket types
A season ticket type consists of a title and price e.g. "Adult Season Ticket" for £200.
Setting up a season ticket event
- Go to "Season Passes" in the main menu.
- Click on "Create new season pass".
- Type in the relevant details and description.
- Click "Continue".
5. Associated events
After clicking "Continue", you will be automatically sent to "Associated events". This is where you will select which individual events will be included in the season ticket.
This is easily done by searching for the event on the right-hand side and clicking on the blue arrow to add it to the season ticket.
If you select an individual event without a seat map that has multiple capacities, you will be asked to choose the capacity. This is so that the system can know which capacity should be reduced in terms of available seats when someone buys a season ticket. Here is where you should choose a capacity that contains only tickets to the event. It is therefore important that you consider how you set up all the individual events associated with the season pass.
It is possible to use a combination of events with and without seat maps. It is not possible to use a mixture of seat maps. This is for logistical reasons.
When you have added all the associated events, click "Save".
Different season ticket types
Season ticket types work in the same way as regular ticket types. These contain information such as a title, description, price, and a time limit.
Fill in the necessary information here, and click on "Continue".
You may want to add multiple season ticket types, for example, "Adult Season Ticket" and "Child Season Ticket". This is achieved similarly to a regular ticket type - simply use the "Season ticket types" tab, fill out the necessary information and click on "Save".
All season ticket types on the same season ticket event will work in the same way. If you want different kinds of season tickets to cover different individual events, then you will need to create multiple season ticket events.
6. Final step: Publish!
Once you are happy with all the other details you have inputted, and are ready to start selling tickets, go to the event details tab, and click on "Publish".
